Agricola man arrested on meth charge

Narcotics agents with the George County Sheriff's Office and Lucedale Police Officers arrested 43-year-old Aubrey Lynn Crawley of George County on Monday after receiving a tip that he was cooking meth, according to officials.

When authorities arrived at Crawley's home at the 200 block of Glenn Vincent Road, they reportedly smelled a chemical odor. George County Sheriff Dean Howell said, officials found several precursor items, materials, chemicals used in the manufacture of methamphetamine and a meth lab.

Crawley was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine.

An Alabama woman is being held at the George County Regional Jail Wednesday, after authorities said they found her with methamphetamine, according to the George County Sheriff's Office.
 
George County Sheriff Dean Howell said, 31-year-old Ginger Michelle Bolton of Wilmer, AL was stopped in her vehicle by Deputy Eric Webb for driving on the wrong side of the road.

When authorities searched her vehicle they reportedly found meth and several precursor chemicals.

Two George County suspects were arrested on drug charges following a routine checkpoint in the Merrill Community in George County on Friday.

According to the George County Sheriff's Office, Detective Trey Collins and Deputy Adam Reus were conducting the checkpoints when they found drugs in two different vehicles.

Sheriff's deputies arrest 2 accused of scrap metal theft

The George County Sheriff's Office arrested two suspects after they allegedly stole farm equipment located at a home on Rob Hunter Lane in the Agricola Community on Monday, according to George County Sheriff Dean Howell.

According to Sheriff Howell, 39-year-old Michelle Renee Little of Gulfport and 29-year-old Israel Diaz El Cid of Guatemala were charged with grand larceny and trespassing.

3 suspected drug dealers arrested in George County

A raid at a home on Bilbo Road in George County resulted in the arrest of three alleged drug dealers at around 6 Monday night.

George County Sheriff Dean Howell said the arrests stem from a tip from someone, who said the suspects were selling drugs out of the home.

According to officials, when authorities arrived at the home, one suspect was found in a closet allegedly holding a potato chip bag full of, what appeared to be crack cocaine.

Narcotics officers from both the George County and Greene County Sheriff's Offfices arrested 36-year-old Andrew Krause, 36, of Greene County on Thursday, April 19.

Officials said his arrest stems from a routine traffic stop on Highway 98. Krause was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.

Krause was taken to the George County Adult Detention Center. His bond was set at $25,000.
