Lucedale woman accused of shooting boyfriend | Crime

George County sheriff's deputies responded to a shooting in the Bexley Community in Lucedale shortly after midnight on Saturday, September 10, 2011.

According to a report from the George County Sheriff's Department, authorities found Dennis Eckford, 41 of Lucedale with a wound to his left arm and neck, reportedly caused by a gunshot. Eckford was taken to George County Regional Hospital.

Deputies arrested 40-year-old Marilyn Williams for allegedly shooting Eckford. Williams, whom was Eckford's live in girlfriend, was arrested and charged with domestic violence aggravated assault.

Williams bonded out with a $1,000 commercial bond set by Justice Court Judge Cedric Howell. This case is still under investigation.
