George County Sheriff's deputies and Mississippi Gaming Commission agents received a tip about illegal gambling devices located in businesses within George County.
According to a report from the George County Sheriff's Department, $3,600 in coins and cash were seized from 11 illegal gambling devices from seven businesses in George County.
The first violation for this crime is a misdemeanor and if someone is convicted fines can reach up to $500 or face three months in jail or both.
